Sunday in Mt. Carmel’ Utah started late with a southwest breakfast before setting out to paint. We found a delightful dirt road and shade. The scene was of pinon trees-sage brush – sink sandstone earth – cobalt/violet sky plus those fabulous billowing clouds. We were so happy.
Back at our hotel, we cooled off in the pool before a light lunch. At 5.30pm we ventured out again to paint the famous Maynard Dixon mesa in evening light – challenging, but we were up to for it. Show and tell when we get back.
We just returned from a unique dinner at Buffalo Bistro – bison and wild boar ribs! Fab! We hit the road for Vegas tomorrow – wish us good luck:
Well, if you can’t figure out how to upload those photos, when you get home I can do a slideshow from your photos. That would be fun and a pleasant diversion from my everyday world.
Best,
Lorraine
