Several of our members recently participated in the second Capitola Plen Air Event. The event is hosted by the City of Capitola and Cultural Commission. It is a free event with juried art competition, exhibition, and sale of works of art. Forty local and regional artists (40) participated. SCOP participating artists were Judy Miller, Coraly Hanson, Maggie Renner Hellmann, Daryl Hosick and Suzanne Elliott. Coraly Hanson won the Capitola Village Business Associates award for her painting, Capitola Beach.
