SCOP BBQ
Thirteen of us feasted under Bert and Eunice’s arbor for a tasty late lunch. We toasted our group and Bank show, and shared magazines and art information, also our Zion trip paintings in Eunice’s new studio, Thanks Bob for group photo on the front lawn.
Hollyhocks Wins First Place
Persistance does pay off sometimes. After many years of submitting to the Santa Cruz County Fair, it was wonderful to discover that “Hollyhocks” won First Place in painting this year. I was so happy painting these beautiful flowers in my garden, and want to share them with you:

Bryce Canyon – they said "we don't paint there!" -(PAPA) – but we did.
Warning: this post was done after cocktail hour. We drove up to 8300 ft. At Bryce Canyon N.P. and painted – orange hoodoo, pink hoodoo, who knew which hoodoo? heard in the background: Italian, German, French, Chinese – and Texan.
