Our group is looking forward to a 2016 Exhibit, ‘Pajaro Valley,The Land and People‘. Tuesday’s plein air painting was at Kirby Park on the Elk Horn Slough. Our members have started to gather photos and create smaller paintings to be used as resources for creating larger paintings for the upcoming show. It was a rare morning with sunshine at the slough. Not without problems, however. Seemed to be a bit of an insect infestation. They were everywhere including in my paint. But, we’re a hearty bunch and we all left with great paintings.
